ECCR’s shareholder resolution, tabled with support from 130 shareholders and the World Council of Churches, was voted on as Resolution 15 at Shell’s AGM on 16 May 2006. One in six shares - 17.16%, worth over £10 billion - did not support Shell management and voted for the resolution or withheld their vote.
The resolution, to be included on the agenda at Shell’s AGM in The Hague on 16 May and simultaneously at the Novotel London West Hotel, has support of over 130 shareholders owning nearly one million shares:
